Jin Shin Jyutsu Practice with The Janitors
In the spirit of evolving in the time of coronavirus, Dr. Kathryn Hayward will guide you through The Janitors, a daily Jin Shin Jyutsu practice that helps us clean up the “dirt, dust and grime” that accumulate during the course of a busy life, and are especially helpful during the pandemic.
Kathryn loves Jin Shin Jyutsu because it is a very easy, versatile and kind way to care for yourself.
Each of the three Janitors cleans up a different range of energy within the body. Revitalizing all three in succession is an especially good way to deal with the stresses of the pandemic.
Jin Shin Jyutsu is an ancient form of energy healing, using gentle hand pressure on particular parts of the body. The hands become “jumper cables” that link one part of the body to another, clearing energy blockages and re-establishing free flow of energy throughout the body.
While Jin Shin Jyutsu can be received from a practitioner or partner, Kathryn will be focusing on a self-care practice that you can do for yourself.
You will need:
• Your hands.
• A comfortable place to sit or lie down. If you cannot comfortably reach your lower legs and feet, have a wooden spoon nearby.
• If you wish to add some aromas to your experience, you can mix lemon juice into water (50/50 mixture) or purchase a Bach Flower Essence called “Holly”. Alternatively, if you have an essence that you really love, bring that. Kathryn will guide you as to where to place a few drops of these essences during the session.
In this program, Kathryn will lead those of us who wish to participate in a conversation about this phase of the pandemic. Our community of support is helping each of us to cope and evolve during this challenging time. This session is especially designed for us to share with one another in the company of our collective Janitors.
Once you register for the session, Kathryn will send you some instructions that you can print out to use on Sunday and for your future self-care Jin Shin Jyutsu practice.
